In Time Magazine, April 8, 1966, Princeton theologian Paul Ramsey said, “Ours is the first attempt in recorded history to build a culture upon the premise that God is Dead.” Much has happened since then, in the USA particularly, and in Western culture in general. The book, When God Dies, explores the ongoing attempts to turn America into a secular nation and the aftermath of those efforts.
This website and blog will promote the book and provide ongoing comment on relevant current events though a Christian worldview.
It is our profound view that America functions best when it follows Judeo-Christian values and teachings found in the Bible. For the past one hundred years and more, the nation has gradually drifted toward secularism with predictable results. In more recent decades the drift has accelerated to a tsunami. There may be no stopping it, indeed the trend in opinion polling suggest that the Christian religion in America will soon be a minority religion.
