Luke is a married young man with a young child who desires to become a multi-millionaire. His life and relationships with his wife and her family are complicated by his mysterious background. He is burned in a freak accident and becomes addicted to opioid drugs in a burn center. As a result, his future, business, and family are destroyed. He lived on the streets for a while as a homeless person before learning of a remarkable church that specializes in helping people like him reset their lives. The church is not quite like he expected.

Kenneth Westbrook is a retired gospel minister and has served churches in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida. He spent 11 ½ years of his ministry in a denominational-level position assisting churches across the state of Florida. In retirement, he felt the need to express himself through the written word and, through a series of experiences, began to do so through the avenue of the Christian novel. Although he is still called upon occasionally to preach from the pulpit and to help pastors and church leaders as a conference speaker or consultant, he enjoys the freedom of expressing his imagination by writing.
